“I See You!” is an ancient African greeting that consciously honors the true presence and oneness of our sisters and brothers. “I See You!” is just as significant a saying as “I Love You!” That is of course when it is spoken from within ones Spirit consciously and truly. In one of the movies about Nelson Mandela, he says “I See You!” to his wife Winnie Mandela when she visits him in prison. “I See You!” is not a saying that was created for the movie Avatar, as many believe. James Cameron the writer and creator of Avatar clearly understands the origin of the saying “I See You!” which is why he used it. I believe he used “I See You!” to try to get as many of us as possible who consciously watched the movie, to understand that we are connected, that we are one with each other, as well as one with the Whole of Creation. Also to assist us in waking consciously to who we truly are. We are Spiritual Beings of Oneness and Unconditional Love, not selfishness, self-destruction, disrespect, and Spiritual disharmony.
I believe that James Cameron is one who is aware of humanities on-going spiritual plight, and feels led to do all that he can to help awaken as many people as possible from the man made, man induced illusion of a lack of Spiritual inclusiveness. Moreover, he also used the movie to help us brake away from the deception of separation that has permeated and distorted the human psyche for thousands upon thousands of years. I believe the main purpose of Avatar is to assist humanity in once again to truly see and truly understanding our individual and collective Spiritual purpose for our existence, which has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with man’s deceptively manufactured religions. I do not mean to disrespect or upset anyone who follows any given religion. However, it is the absolute truth that religion is a man made institution created in the minds of men. Religion was designed so that a few could control the masses and the abundant resources of Earth Mother. Religion is designed to orchestrate our disconnection from SOURCE, instead of facilitating a deeper and more meaningful connection to SOURCE. By way of the movie Avatar and many other avenues, we are given many opportunities to wake-up and see what is truly going on in the world at this pivotal point in space. In addition, we are being shown what our parts are individually and collectively to bring about needed change in this chaotic state we find ourselves. Given the adequate time and attention, we will reverse the dire consequences that have been produced by our negative actions towards self, each other, Earth Mother, and the Whole of Creation.
In the world today, many people do not see, acknowledge, truly recognize, or honor each other. Why has that become our reality? That has become our reality because most of the wealthy people in control throughout the world are so caught up in only their intentionally isolated surrounding worlds, their wealth, and their self-righteous minuscule existence. From what I have gathered, Avatar was actually designed to awaken our minds to the plight of all of the indigenous people of the world that have been and are being used and abused because of the valuable natural resources their lands possess. The valuable natural resources I speak of also include individual manpower that is transmuted into slave labor.
Avatar is a futuristic depiction of the powers that be, the American mercenary forces organized to rape another planet of its natural resources as they did to their own planet, giving absolutely no regard for the well-being and longevity of the planet and the indigenous people of that planet. The Americans were bent on acquiring wealth, selfish control, and the annihilation of the people, the peoples land and their future, just as some people are doing now in America and all around this planet today. Avatar is much more than just a fabulous science fiction flick. We need to open our eyes and ears, and truly see and hear the message in the movie.
African Greetings
Sawubona - Hello.
This greeting is an acknowledgment of having seen the other person. If you are greeted in this way, you could reply:
Yebo, sawubona - Yes, I see you.
Sanibonani - I see you.
Yebo, sanibonani - Yes, I see you.

Cameron is a brave and bold filmmaker, a college drop-out who became a truck driver and then one day just decided he was going to make movies. "Avatar" is an idea he's had in his head since he was a teenager -- and somewhere, somehow, his dreams and creativity weren't snuffed out by the machine. Thank God.

* James Cameron has been targeted by the crazy right. Because -- Fox and Rush have this one correct, -- "Avatar" is, in fact, an allegory for America -- a land stolen from an indigenous people who were slaughtered, a nation that not only allows corporations to call the shots but let's them privatize our wars (wars in distant places with the objective of controlling a dwindling energy resource), and a people who seem hell-bent on destroying the environment.
